Candidate entry requirements:
There is no prescribed recommended knowledge, attainment or experience needed to gain access to this qualification. However potential candidates are initially assessed on entry, so that levels of literacy, numeracy, communication skills and sector understanding can be determined. This initial assessment will also consider previous qualifications and practical experience.
How long is the course?
The course is usually delivered over 3 consecutive days (30 hrs), however a more flexible option is available for group bookings, tailored to suit the needs of the client.
What does the course involve?
Delegates must complete and pass both units 1 and 2 as outlined below. Success will achieve a Level 2 Award in CCTV operations and allow delegates to apply for their SIA licence. The course requires you to undertake the role of a CCTV operator where you will track, log and report activities on a suspect or activity.
